One of the few Spanish bands to enjoy sustained international recognition\, the band burst onto the global scene with their 2006 debut Evil Unleashed and have never looked back.\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				Get Your Tickets\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				A close-knit four-man unit\, Angelus Apatrida inked a deal with Century Media records in 2009: an unexpected achievement for a Spanish metal band\, but one that they grabbed with eight hands. With the always consistent line-up of frontman/guitarist Guillermo Izquierdo\, bassist Jose Izquierdo\, drummer Victor Valera and guitarist David Alvarez\, Angelus Apatrida have steadily evolved\, releasing a series of stunning\, genre-redefining records that belonged squarely in the thrash metal realm while never sounding quite like any other band. They reached an obvious creative peak with 2018’s widely acclaimed Cabaret de la Guillotine\, but as Guillermo explains\, Angelus Apatrida are always looking for new ways to wreck necks and flatten skulls. \n“It’s been a natural evolution – it’s been the same four people all the way along\, and we’ve already released six albums and toured almost the entire world\,” he says. “We just try to improve ourselves\, learning from each other and learning from other bands\, bigger bands and smaller bands too. We try to learn from everybody. But the way we compose\, the way we record\, the way we do everything has stayed the same. There’s only one goal\, which is to always try to find the best sounds we can and to always make the next album better than the previous one. So far\, I think we’ve done that\, in my own humble opinion!” \nNot many bands last for two decades with their credibility and passion intact. But Angelus Apatrida are not like other bands: this is state-of-the-art\, multi-dimensional and monstrous thrash metal\, with a big heart and a skull full of rage. Forged in turmoil but full of the hope that only music can inspire\, Angelus Apatrida is the pulverising metal record that the world needs right now. The future may be uncertain\, but class is eternal.

Featuring composer Brian Daniloski on guitar\, bass\, vocals\, and sound design\, and filmmaker Ann Everton on synth\, vocals\, percussion\, and projections\, Darsombra is internationally known for walking the line between glam-prog-psych-stoner metal and site-specific installation performance art. Live\, their carefully crafted songs and videos create a hallucinogenic synesthesia for the audience\, as Everton and Daniloski build a temporary reality from sound\, sight\, and movement. \nBut beyond their notoriously psychedelic stage shows\, they have a strikingly distinctive and unique sound\, which runs the gamut from minimal pulsating drone soundscapes to intricately layered album-length psych/metal opuses\, to glam/prog Krautrock-esque tracks drenched with field recordings. Expect cosmic guitar solos and interweaving riffs\, blissed-out synth sequences and bass lines\, and emotive whacks of a gong or tolls of bells peppered throughout their work\, in addition to vocal stylings that range from wordless choral harmonies to percussive chants\, grunts\, and word-salad lyrics. SUMMARY:Moonroof with Recess\, CPA Jake\, and The Goners
DESCRIPTION:Moonroof is an indie pop band from Philadelphia\, PA featuring Dave Kim (vocals)\, Dan Rendine (drums)\, Kevin Randolph (bass)\, and Francis Convery (guitar). Founding members Dave\, Dan\, and Kevin met while attending Bloomsburg University\, where they played open mics and other events and bonded over their love of bands like the 1975\, Two Door Cinema Club\, and Last Dinosaurs. After college\, the band moved back to Philadelphia\, adopted the name Moonroof\, and began releasing music and playing shows across the Philadelphia area.\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				Get Your Tickets\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				In 2018\, Moonroof released the song Honey Honey\, which has now earned over 1 million streams and helped garner a new audience for the band. Moonroof won a contest by Philly radio station Alt 104.5 in 2019 and received the opportunity to open up for The Lumineers\,\nDeath Cab for Cutie\, Grouplove\, and Phantogram at the station’s 12th Birthday Show. \nIn 2020\, Moonroof signed with Philadelphia label Free Dive Records and\, in October 2021\, released their debut EP Dream State. The EP debuted as the #2 alternative album and #6 album overall on Apple’s top 200. \nMoonroof released their first single of 2023\, I’d Rather Be Alone\, in January and plans to continue releasing new music and playing shows throughout the year.\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Recess is an Epic and Theatrical Pop / Alternative band that formed in early 2008 in Cleveland\, Ohio. With Vincent Fondale on lead vocals and Alex Raz on guitar (ages 7 and 9)\, the two started one of the youngest touring bands in the Northeast. A year later\, they formed the band Recess\, adding Anthony Fondale on keyboards and Arslan Khan to play drums (both 12 years old). \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				Get Your Tickets\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Throughout the next 8 years\, Recess played across the US and began to write and form their uniquely catchy cinematic pop sound. With Anthony producing/ engineering alongside sound engineer Freddy DeMarco out of DeMarco’s Recording Studio in Hudson\, OH\, the band released their first two EP’s: “Boundary Lane” (2018) and “From Dust to Gold” (2019). After releasing their first music video for the band’s song “Leaving Home” (directed by Brad Golowin)\, it was immediately featured on the premiere music blog for emerging artists\, Kings of A&R. Recess was then selected and became semifinalists on Top Golf’s “Who Will Rock You” TV show (2019)\, which was followed by an influx of press that can all be found here. \n– \nFusing the elements from multiple genres\, the Goners bring an energetic and interactive live performance that showcases the combination of art through visual and audio effects. In the span of a year\, the Goners have crawled their way into the music scene in various cities\, from winning a battle of the bands\, to headlining their own shows. With new music on the horizon\, they plan to keep the momentum flowing. The Goners are sure to have something to catch your attention. \n– \nCPA Jake is a pop rock artist at night and an accountant in Cleveland\, Ohio during the day. One thing’s for certain… you can always expect to hear upbeat energetic music that will have you jumping around whenever he comes on stage.
