Doors at 7 PM and Music at 8 PM. Catch Mosant with Violet Wilder. \n“Mosant released their double-single “Critical” / “(Not the) Only One” in 2022. Coalescing into its current configuration in the spring of that year\, the band shifted into a rich collaborative mode\, finding beautiful common ground and compelling friction in a four-way partnership that mischievously mashes buzzy power-pop hooks\, prog-rock left turns\, bighearted soul\, and sumptuous harmonies. The resulting debut\, Midnight Television\, recorded at Cincinnati’s Marble Garden with Isaac Karns\, perfectly captures the spitfire energy of a young band while confidently absorbing 60 years of pop music.” \nCollege best friends Kimberly\, Melissa\, & Jayna formed Violet Wilder amid a tumultuous timeline filled with friendship\, heartbreak\, highs & lows. Violet Wilder processes the world around them sonically\, expressing themselves through lyric & melody in a fashion of alternative indie\, rock & roll\, and folk\, and mesmerizes audiences with their sumptuous 3-part harmony and cute outfits.\n \n Get Your Tickets Now URL:https://westsidebowl.com/event/mosant-and-violet-wilder/ CATEGORIES:Live Music ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://westsidebowl.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/469048214_1131184749008118_6191952240197493231_n.jpg END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=America/New_York:20241213T200000 DTEND;TZID=America/New_York:20241213T230000 DTSTAMP:20241114T154336Z CREATED:20241114T154328Z LAST-MODIFIED:20241114T154336Z UID:10006542-1734120000-1734130800@westsidebowl.com SUMMARY:Holiday Beach Party DESCRIPTION:Dreamin’ of the beach? Tickets $15 in advance\, $20 at the door. Doors at 7 PM. Music at 8 PM. \nBrought up on bands like Sonic Youth\, The Jesus Lizard or My Bloody Valentine\, Bordeaux-based outfit MARS RED SKY had no idea that they were about to become French stoner scene cornerstones when they founded the band in 2007. Yet the heavy psychedelic trio already share many similarities and obvious connections with the “heavy and slow” community. Free from any musical genre consideration\, the musicians build their very own style on the tracks of the underground pioneers. Julien Pras’ ethereal and melodic voice emerges from a thick and complex rhythm\, carried by sci-fi literature’s lyricism. Almost cinematic\, MARS RED SKY’s sounding has a peculiar and unique flavor\, standing out within the heavy rock scene. \nHypnotic\, exhilarating\, heavy\, their self-titled debut album conquered the very select heavy family and brought the trio to the biggest international rock and metal stages (SXSW\, Hellfest\, Desertfest\, Roadburn). On stage\, they manage to recreate their sophisticated studio atmospheres and to deliver the special sonic touch that characterises them. Their live shows absorb the listener\, lose him into a visual and vibrant limbo and take him into another dimension.\n \n Get Your Tickets Now URL:https://westsidebowl.com/event/mars-red-sky/ CATEGORIES:Hard Rock, Punk, and Heavy Metal,Live Music ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://westsidebowl.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/459270689_1062178562575404_7778930594586541467_n.jpg END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=America/New_York:20241214T170000 DTEND;TZID=America/New_York:20241214T230000 DTSTAMP:20241114T160258Z CREATED:20241114T160249Z LAST-MODIFIED:20241114T160258Z UID:10006544-1734195600-1734217200@westsidebowl.com SUMMARY:Travis Heeter Presents: NetworkFest Entry #1 DESCRIPTION:Stellar line up for Travis Heeter’s NetworkFest.
