SUMMARY:The Koffin Kats
DESCRIPTION:The groundwork for what has become the relentlessly-touring sonic assault known as The Koffin Kats was laid near Detroit\, Michigan when Vic Victor (Lead Vocalist\, Upright Bass) joined forces with long-time friend Tommy Koffin (Guitar). After adding Damian Detroit (Drums) the band kicked off in June 2003\, stopping for nothing. Now\, with over ten years of touring internationally and over two thousand live shows\, the touring trio’s current home is out on the open road. \nThe Koffin Kats began by putting together songs with such subjects as dealing with the horrors of the real world\, as well as Science Fiction. The band started in small local bars playing for beer\, hoping for gas money\, and eventually made their way out of the Midwest. The next couple of years contained positives including numerous North American tours\, and negatives concerning changes at the drumming position. During this time they released their first three albums: Koffin Kats (2003)\, Inhumane (2005)\, and Straying From The Pack (2006). \nThe three album releases and their supporting tours gained attention for The Koffin Kats and helped get the band noticed in the wide world of punk and psychobilly. In 2007 Vic and Tommy connected with drummer Eric “E-Ball” Walls to record the band’s fourth studio album\, Drunk In The Daylight (2008)\, and catalyzed what the band is now known for: love for their fans and the road\, and playing everywhere for everyone willing to watch and listen. \nIn the years following the release of Drunk In The Daylight\, The Koffin Kats have established their name performing in Europe\, and have also been included on tours with some of the tops acts in psychobilly\, including\, but not limited to\, Mad Sin\, Nekromantix\, and The Meteors. In 2009 the trio released their fifth studio album\, Forever For Hire\, and Tommy departed at the year’s end to pursue a normal life. Shortly thereafter\, “EZ” Ian Jarrell took over the guitarist position and joined the band on tour. While on the road they worked on the material that would become featured on their split album with fellow psychobilly act 12 Step Rebels\, From Our Hands To Yours (2011). \nThe Koffin Kats signed with Sailor’s Grave Records in late 2011\, and released Our Way & The Highway in January 2012. The trio supported their sixth studio album’s release with non-stop international touring\, finally ending in summer of 2013. In autumn of the same year\, they released another full-length album with Sailor’s Grave Records\, Born Of The Motor. \nEarly 2014 brought another change to The Koffin Kats’ member roster. Ian Jarrell left the band to handle personal business at home in Albuquerque\, New Mexico. Not wanting to bring someone too far removed from The Koffin Kats family into the fold\, Vic and Eric enlisted John Kay (Guitar). John was the engineer on some previous KK recordings.\nThe founding lineup returned in 2016. \nSix years after his departure\, Tommy Koffin returned to playing guitar with The Koffin Kats. With Vic Victor on lead vocals and upright bass\, and E Ball Walls on drums. In 2017\, the trio self released the album “Party Time In The End Times” under the Koffin Kats Records label. The band toured throughout the following years until the Covid 19 Pandemic brought live entertainment to a halt. \nDuring the unexpected break from touring\, the band took time to write and record. Vic and Tommy put together an acoustic release called “Victor & Koffinfunkle.” Back in writing mode they then focused on new material. This brought about the early 2021 self release of “Ya Can’t Take It With Ya.” A 6 track EP.\n \n Get Your Tickets Now

SUMMARY:Brotality
DESCRIPTION:Infectious energy. Irresponsible grooves. Infinitely heavy. The signature sound of Brotality smashes the glory days of thrash metal together with modern melodies\, progressive grooves\, and bouncing riffs\, culminating in a refreshingly energetic and compelling sound. This “expertly crafted” (For The Rock) sound is overwhelmingly present in Brotality’s latest work\, It Feeds. It Feeds consists of 5 brand new songs which bring the listener to euphoric heights with larger than life melodies\, then juxtapose those triumphs with slamming rhythmic and groove-worshiping sections that leave the listener reeling. \nCatch Brotality with Self Inflicted and Nineteenth Paradise on Tuesday\, July 9 at 8PM. FREE SHOW!\nThe guys in Brotality – brothers Bryce Maopolski (guitar/vocals) and Reece Maopolski (bass/vocals) along with John Haring (drums) – have created a band that unapologetically delivers a signature blend of time-tested riffage\, soaring melodies\, and sections of pure\, punishing musical destruction. With crushing riffs\, muscular vocals\, and “brilliant musical prowess” (Kingdom Core) in abundance\, Brotality has created “their own unique and powerful vision” (Rock N Load) worthy of carrying forward the Heavy Metal moniker. They cite Mastodon and Megadeth as influences\, and it won’t take long for anyone who listens to their award-winning music to feel their undeniable old-school sensibilities\, wrapped in youthful energy and modern brutality. \nThe Maopolski brothers started Brotality in 2016. In a few short years\, Brotality has released two EP’s\, multiple singles\, and two full length albums. Their debut full length\, “Worldwide Desolation”\, has received countless rave reviews and landed on several “Best Albums of 2021” lists. Their sophomore album\, “The Woods Will End You” won Reader’s Choice Album of the Year on Metal Epidemic\, Top 7 Thrash Albums on Scream Blast Repeat and spots on many other Top Albums of 2022 lists along with Bryce being honored with a spot on their Best Guitarists of 2022 list. Brotality was also nominated for Artist Of The Year at the 2023 Steamtown Music Awards\, Best Metal Band at the 2021\, 2022\, and 2023 Steamtown Music Awards\, and Best Metal Band 2021 and 2022 for the Central PA Music Hall of Fame Awards. Their journey has given them opportunities to play well-known venues such as Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (where they immediately preceded Deep Purple and Judas Priest)\, The Bitter End NYC\, Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia\, several multi-day festivals such as a co-headlining slot at Exodo Fest in Tlaxcala\, Mexico\, Creation Fest\, Uprise Fest\, and Stage West in Scranton\, PA where they won the 570 Music Show’s Best Metal Band award for 2019. Brotality has had several singles hit the Loud charts\, with “Foxhole” making it to #2\, “Salting The Wound” #5\, and “Prisoners Of The Abyss” debuting in the top 25. \nAn ambitious 2023 schedule saw the band playing regionally around the northeast U.S. weekly\, as well as embarking on an expansive and independently booked seven-week national summer tour\, capitalizing on their 2022 summer tour which spanned the United States over 6 weeks. In April of 2023 they co-headlined Exodo Fest in Tlaxcala\, Mexico- a festival that has previously seen headliners such as P.O.D.\, Norma Jean\, and Haste The Day. With each and every release\, Brotality further refines their craft and continues to deliver what can only come from this group.

SUMMARY:Stephen Babcock
DESCRIPTION:Stephen Babcock heads to Westside Bowl with Nafan and Cherry Yachtsman. Tickets are $10 in advance\, $12 day of show. \nHailing from the Rust Belt\, Stephen Babcock’s journey began in modest surroundings\, a world shaped by the blue-collar pulse of industry. Amidst a family of four\, including a twin\, he absorbed the musical background passed down by his father. At 13\, he started crafting songs\, laying the foundation for a career as a singer-songwriter. \nEight years of relentless dedication birthed “Said & Done\,” Stephen’s inaugural project that resonated with the authenticity of Rust Belt roots. As the release echoed beyond the industrial horizon\, he embarked on a nationwide tour\, from intimate Nashville writers’ rooms to stages across the United States. \n“Fiction\,” the critically acclaimed EP dropped in April 2018\, showcasing Stephen’s genre-blending prowess. Opening for Ed Sheeran\, William Hinson\, Brad Goodall\, and others\, he became a favorite of PASTe\, Atwood Magazine\, Variance Mag and more. \n“Monroe\,” released in October 2021\, solidified his place in the musical landscape. “When We Were Kids Ourselves” followed in late 2022\, both albums weaving tales inspired by the honest songwriting Stephen has become known for. \nWith a new album now due in summer 2024\, Stephen Babcock’s trajectory from Rust Belt beginnings to a musical force on the horizon signifies not just an individual journey but a collective anthem for those who find strength in simplicity and beauty in struggle.\n \n Get Your Tickets Now\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Get Your Tickets Now
