Sunny Sweeney
Sunny Sweeney plays Westside Bowl on Sunday, July 26. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show.
For nearly two decades, Sunny Sweeney has made country music that feels lived-in, unvarnished, and deeply human. Born in Houston and raised in East Texas, she built her name on honest songs, memorable hooks, and a style rooted in classic honky tonk while still feeling fully her own.
Across five acclaimed albums, Sweeney has become known for storytelling that balances heartbreak, humor, and hard-earned perspective. Her latest album, Rhinestone Requiem, continues that tradition with songs that pull from the older shapes of country music while sounding fresh, personal, and full of character.
If you already know Sunny Sweeney, you know the kind of night this will be. If you don’t, this is a great chance to get to know her music.
