The Youngstown Skatepark Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was formed in November 2024 by a passionate group of individuals who grew up skateboarding together. The organization was born from a shared vision to create a safe, inclusive space where people of all ages can recreate, connect, and develop their skills in skateboarding, BMX, inline skating, and scootering.
The Youngstown Skatepark Association believes action sports are powerful tools for community building, self-expression, and youth empowerment. Its purpose is to advocate for and facilitate the development of a world-class public skatepark in Youngstown, ensuring future generations have access to a dedicated space where they can safely pursue their passions.
