Serving up a wide array of genres, band leader Davey Squires composes to include anything from jazz to blues and ragtime to rock within his original songs. Davey Squires & Friends is completed as a 4 piece band, notable especially in the Northeast Ohio music scene. The instrumentation can range a number of ensembles from night to night. This allows them to transition effortlessly from and into a variety of styles and genres. From the bluesy-ballad, “Blue Spruce”, to the prog-rock inspired, “Perfect Cloudy Day”, or the reggae/ragtime mixed, “Garden”.
