First Wednesday Reader Series presents poets Angel James, Stephanie Kendrick & Mark Lee Webb. Mitch James will co-host. Open mic to follow. Wednesday, July 10, at 7:00pm at the Westside Bowl, 2617 Mahoning Ave. This reading will be downstairs in the Trophy Room, accessible only by stairs.

Angel James is an easily distracted creative person from a sleepy, rural river town in Central Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in English and a graduate certificate in Institutional Research and Assessment. Becoming Friends With Chaos, a collection of works inspired by the life and music of Bob Dylan, is her first book of poetry.

Stephanie Kendrick writes from the hills and valleys of northern Appalachia. She lives in Albany, OH with her husband and son. She writes, trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and works as an SSA for children with developmental disabilities. Mark Lee Webb is a poet, photographer, and musician. He is the author of It’s Not Easy Being a Moth and several poetry chapbooks. His work has appeared in literary journals such as Ninth Letter, Reed, Columbia Journal, Aeolian Harp, and many others. His photography has been selected in several juried exhibitions, such as WideOpen 2020. Mark is also a jazz drummer. He makes his home in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife, folk musician Molly McCormack.
