Madame Marlowe return to Westside Bowl with Dream the Heavy, Cokeworks, and Old Neon on Friday, August 2.
Dream the Heavy is a genre-fluid yet rooted in alternative rock band. It is a live show that is as charismatic and captivating as it is danceable and moody. Well-crafted songs are performed by musicians who know their craft.
Cokeworks is rust belt emo band on the Ohio River combining indie rock, pop punk, and midwest emo as a little treat. cokeworks takes their name from the abandoned coke works plants scattered throughout the Ohio Valley. A re-appropriation of sorts, cokeworks are an outlier in rust belt culture, progressive & disruptive by nature, combining their favorite subversive genres to create something wholly new.
Old Neon is a pop punk band from Pittsburgh PA formed in 2021 that bring their eclectic tastes into a lively show and have become a staple in Pittsburgh’s modern pop punk/emo scene, with a growing presence around the northeastern US.
