Moonroof with Recess, CPA Jake, and The Goners

In 2018, Moonroof released the song Honey Honey, which has now earned over 1 million streams and helped garner a new audience for the band. Moonroof won a contest by Philly radio station Alt 104.5 in 2019 and received the opportunity to open up for The Lumineers,
Death Cab for Cutie, Grouplove, and Phantogram at the station’s 12th Birthday Show.

In 2020, Moonroof signed with Philadelphia label Free Dive Records and, in October 2021, released their debut EP Dream State. The EP debuted as the #2 alternative album and #6 album overall on Apple’s top 200.

Moonroof released their first single of 2023, I’d Rather Be Alone, in January and plans to continue releasing new music and playing shows throughout the year.

Throughout the next 8 years, Recess played across the US and began to write and form their uniquely catchy cinematic pop sound. With Anthony producing/ engineering alongside sound engineer Freddy DeMarco out of DeMarco’s Recording Studio in Hudson, OH, the band released their first two EP’s: “Boundary Lane” (2018) and “From Dust to Gold” (2019). After releasing their first music video for the band’s song “Leaving Home” (directed by Brad Golowin), it was immediately featured on the premiere music blog for emerging artists, Kings of A&R. Recess was then selected and became semifinalists on Top Golf’s “Who Will Rock You” TV show (2019), which was followed by an influx of press that can all be found here.

Fusing the elements from multiple genres, the Goners bring an energetic and interactive live performance that showcases the combination of art through visual and audio effects. In the span of a year, the Goners have crawled their way into the music scene in various cities, from winning a battle of the bands, to headlining their own shows. With new music on the horizon, they plan to keep the momentum flowing. The Goners are sure to have something to catch your attention.
