The Vindys
For the past decade, The Vindys have been captivating audiences with their dynamic fusion of rock, soul, and pop. Hailing from Youngstown, Ohio, the band has built a passionate following through electrifying live performances, rich harmonies, and heartfelt songwriting that reflects both grit and grace.
At the heart of the band is powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Jackie Popovec, whose commanding presence and vocal range have drawn comparisons to legends. Even Pat Benatar herself once declared, “She’s amazing. That girl can sing her ass off.” Backing her is a stellar ensemble: John Anthony on lead guitar, Rick Deak on rhythm guitar, Owen Davis on drums, Brendan Burke on bass, and Nathan Anthony on keys. Together, they create a sound that Music Connection Magazine praised as “rock and roll at its finest.”
The Vindys’ reputation has spread far beyond Ohio, lighting up major festival stages and opening for icons like Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, ZZ Top, Marcus King, Beth Hart, and Ann Wilson. Their blend of soulful vocals, sharp musicianship, and emotional depth makes every performance unforgettable — and there’s no better way to welcome 2026 than with one of Youngstown’s finest exports bringing the house down at Westside Bowl.
Candace Campana
Candace Campana brings an edgy, fearless energy to the stage — an exciting mix of country grit, hard rock swagger, and heartfelt storytelling. Her powerful voice and dynamic presence make her one of Northeast Ohio’s standout performers.
Candace has shared the stage with a wide range of national acts, including Jovin Webb, Colt Ford, Neon Union, Kylie Morgan, JD Eicher, The Vindys, and many others. She’s played major fairs and festivals across the state — from the Ohio State Fair to the Canfield Fair — and commands every stage she steps on, whether performing solo with her acoustic guitar or backed by her full band featuring Pete Drivere (guitar), Adam Parrot (drums), and Todd Kilgore (bass).
Her collaborations include work with Ed Davis of The Vindys, whose drumming appears on several of her singles. Even Brian “Head” Welch of Korn took notice, promoting her album on social media. Expect a fiery performance full of raw emotion, strength, and the kind of edge that keeps audiences coming back for more.
