ZP Pins & Needles Happy Hour

Connection is the mission when ZP (/zEEp/) takes the decks. With Rust Belt roots emanating from Youngstown, Ohio, the DJ and Producer has made Brooklyn his home for more than a decade, pollinating dancefloors with infectious energy and keeping a careful ear to the city’s soundscape. Now, seeking the intercession of Larry Levan, ZP (born Zachary Paull) sows a soundtrack that bridges genres and eras, enlivening scenes from NYC to the midwest and beyond with a wide-ranging repertoire of pounding kicks and congas tangled up with funky synths and soul samples.

Paull’s recent project Tonight: Zeep Wrangler drifts through the crossroads of roots genres and dance music, kicking up dust and spurring new life into the heartland blues rock and country soul cuts that have always kept him moving.
